Tyler + Cortney

How did a chance encounter on Hinge turn into a lifetime of love? It depends on which story you believe—meeting on a dating app or rescuing puppies from a rainstorm. Either way, fate had a plan for us.

From the beginning, there was something special about our connection. Our second date, a cozy backyard drive-in movie, felt like something out of a storybook. Tyler set up a TV, a warm fire, and a little UTV filled with pillows and blankets. It was simple, sweet, and thoughtful—the kind of night that makes you realize you’ve found something real. That was the moment Cortney knew she wouldn’t look back.

Fast forward to a “30th birthday trip” for Tyler in Aruba. Unbeknownst to Cortney, it was more than just a celebration. On our first night, we had a beautiful picnic setup on the beach, complete with a photographer Tyler had arranged. As “Beautiful Crazy” played, Tyler knew it was time. With the perfect song in the background, he got down on one knee and asked Cortney to spend forever with him. She said yes!

Now, whether it’s a backyard movie night or an adventure in a new place, our ideal date is all about those thoughtful, meaningful moments that make us feel close and connected. We’re excited to continue writing this story together, with a wedding day that’s just the beginning of our next chapter.
